Bordering the Resort's 70-acre Nature Preserve, Hawk maintains three outdoor tennis courts that lend breathtaking views of the surrounding Green Mountains.
Offering play from sunup to sundown during the warm-weather months, Hawk will introduce you to the exhilaration of playing in the crystal-clear Vermont mountain air - a particular treat if your tennis experience has been confined to the indoor courts of the city. Try not to become too distracted by the setting, however, as guests may be watching by the sidelines.
Tennis clinics are offered to introduce new players to the game. Although, if you prefer to go it alone, a Tennis Tutor ball machine is available to help you practice those killer returns.
Individual instruction is also available by appointment with a tennis tournament scheduled for the July 4th holiday.
The Tennis Courts at Hawk
- Three hard surface courts with an observation area and fresh water provided
- Reservations are required for all court times
- Racquets, balls and an electronic ball machine are available at the Recreation Center
- Clinics and private instruction are available by appointment
- Tournaments are scheduled throughout the season
- White-soled tennis shoes are required at all times
