Accommodations ~ Condominiums and Townhomes
1600 feet up on our mountain, you'll have a view as awe-inspiring as any in New England.

Hawk named the Ledges after the moss-covered rock outcroppings that accent one of the Resort's densely wooded mountainsides. Two miles up a winding private road, deep into Hawk's mountains, you will find the Ledges Villas perched on these rocky shelves - a unique location which provides some of the best views in all of Vermont. In a stately manner, you will overlook the entire valley floor of Hawk's 1,200 acres, while in the distance, vast mountains roll off to infinity. Gazing out your windows past the towering birch trees, you will still feel like you're the only one on the mountain, yet you have all the amenities of Hawk's four-season resort right at your feet. In the Black River Valley below, lies the Hawk Inn, stables, marina and Hawk's own 70-acre Nature Preserve - and you can see it all. But this is just the everyday view from a Ledges Villa. Although utterly peaceful and seemingly far removed from the rest of the world, you are still less than a ten-minute drive from Okemo's ski resort or championship golf course, and Killington's Northeast Passage or Skyeship gondola.
You Could Say The View Inspired Us, But...
|
The inspiration for creating the Ledges actually came from the superior craftsmanship and construction of Hawk's Mountain Villas, and the knowledge that, with such a background and location, Hawk could build a collection of villas more lavish, more private, more elegantly conceived and situated than any existing townhouses in Vermont. Like Hawk's Mountain Villas, the Ledges Villas are multi-level two-, three- and four-bedroom homes, which share all the amenities and signature design that has come to characterize Hawk's award-winning, four-season resort. The Ledges differ from Hawk's Mountain Villas in that they are grouped together in clusters in a specific section of the Hawk property - that of a particularly prominent mountain ledge, 1,600 feet above the Hawk Inn, which has provided an ideal location for villas of this style and design. They are at a perfect altitude and location from which to survey the surrounding mountains as they begin to turn vivid colors come foliage season. The Ledges also offers miles of high-altitude hiking, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing for outdoor enthusiasts of all tastes and ability levels. And once your adventurous day has come to a close either on the Hawk trail network or in the surrounding towns and villages, retreat to the valley floor for a dip in Hawk's year-round outdoor heated pool and a sumptuous meal at The River Tavern - then return to your Ledges Villa to enjoy viewing all the activity from your lofty vantage point.
