Directions ~ To Hawk by Automobile ~ Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, D.C.
From the DC metropolitan area, proceed Northbound on Rt. 295 and take the exit for "I-895/Harbor Tunnel Thruway". Get on I-895 North which turns into I-95 North. Travel North on I-95 for approximately 60 miles and take the I-295 exit toward "New Jersey Turnpike/Delaware Memorial Bridge/NJ-NY".

Proceed straight on I-295 North for 5 miles and straight still onto Rt. 40 East, which will take you onto the New Jersey Turnpike. Drive North on the New Jersey Turnpike/I-95 for approximately 119 miles to the I-95 North exit on the Left toward "Bruckner Expressway/New England". Continue North on I-95 for 64.5 miles and take the I-91 North exit. Proceed Northbound on I-91 for approximately 147 miles to the exit for Rt. 5. Stay Left at the fork in the exit ramp and turn Left onto Rt. 5. Drive half a mile and turn Left onto Rt. 103, on which you will remain for 24 miles. Outside of the town of Ludlow, turn Right onto Rt. 100 North and drive 5 miles. You will see the entrance for Hawk Inn and Mountain Resort on your Right.
Approximate travel time: 8.5 hours from Washington D.C., 7.5 hours from Baltimore and 6 hours from Philadelphia.
