Directions ~ Flying to Hawk ~ Hartford, Connecticut
New England's second largest airport, Bradley International Airport, just north of Hartford, Connecticut, provides a convenient alternative to flying into Boston's Logan - if you can get a direct flight. Featuring over 140 flights per day by 15 national and regional carriers, Bradley International is growing rapidly. Already, the airport sees an average of over 7 million air travelers pass through its gates annually. And in 2003, airport officials plan to complete a major terminal expansion project. Currently, US Airways and Delta Air provide the most traffic into and out of Bradley.
The Bottom Line: Right off of I-91, which provides a straight shot up to central Vermont, Bradley is particularly good if you are flying domestically from somewhere outside of the Northeastern US and want an alternative to Boston's Logan.
