Directions ~ Flying to Hawk ~ Flying Into Albany, New York
The capital of New York maintains a medium-size airport only 30 miles from the Vermont border. Completely renovated in 1998, and featuring a new, modern, 230,000 square-foot terminal, Albany International Airport sees approximately two million travelers per year pass through its gates. Originally established in 1928 as America's first municipal airport, Albany International has come a long way in that time, and now serves as one of the most convenient gateways to the Green Mountain State.
The Bottom Line: Albany International is the largest airport within 2 hours of Hawk. It's biggest advantage over Manchester Airport (about the same distance from Hawk) is that you can fly direct to Albany from a larger list of cities.
